Yes! Walking or running with your dog during the summer is a great way to log miles, and we would like to encourage that by allowing all participants of the CASA Kane County Progressive Marathon’s final 1.2 mile run to have their dog run with them on race day. Out of respect to other runners, we do ask that participants do not bring dogs into Race Village and line up with their dog at the back of the starting corral. Please note, entry is not needed or permitted for dogs. They must be leashed at all times and kept away from other dogs and runners. Walkers/runners with dogs must bring bags to clean up after their dog immediately and dispose of any waste in a garbage can. Dogs are not permitted in the food tent, beer garden or race village.
Yes, please line up in the stroller corral after the walkers and runners.
The CASA Kane County Progressive Marathon is its own independent event that takes place simultaneously with the Fox Valley Marathon Races. There will be a separate location to pick up you bib event morning, (you may also pick up your bib at the Fox Valley Marathon Races expo on Friday or Saturday). The race will begin 25 minutes after the Fox Valley Marathon Races.
